Bridgeport, present day...
Outside, in the hospital’s visitor’s parking lot, everyone ignored the blistering cold. Congratulations were passed around, Leigh and Krimsyn kissed Devon tenderly on the cheek, before piling into their cars, as J.D. passed cigars to the other two men, he’d had the sense to sneak out and buy a box, at some point during the eleven hour ordeal.
“Mazel tov!” J.D. enthused, and Devon and Krisis joined in; a few slaps on the backs were exchanged between all three before they all piled into their cars.
Krimsyn and J.D. blared their car horn happily as they sped off, with Leigh and Krisis following closely behind them.
Just as Devon was about get into his car, he sensed he was being watched. He turned around and surely enough he was.  Something about the dark haired woman he’d seen outside the nursery as they’d left, the same one looking at him now, disturbed him. He was sure he’d seen her before.
He hesitated for a while unable to bring himself leave.  He couldn’t shake off the feeling that something was wrong. He quickly called Eloise’s ward; the nurse on duty assured him Eloise and Blake were both sleeping soundly beside each other; he should go home and get some sleep. Reluctantly he hung up, and slowly got inside his car.
He noticed, as he pulled out of the parking lot, creepy dark-haired lady was still staring at him, at his car, rather.

“Creep!” He mumbled to himself as he sped out of the parking lot.

    Yikes! I hope she doesn't get the baby! It will crush Dev to know he had a bad feeling about her and he didn't trust it.
