LOVE STORIES

 Leigh & Krisis

His sister’s search for a tutor led Krisis face to face with Ashleigh Starlington, his deceased lover’s doppelganger. At first he tried his damndest to stay away from Leigh because she reminded him so much about his past, but the chemistry between them was undeniable.

After a night of passion with Leigh, Krisis had to leave town with K-Infinity for a tour of Sunset Valley. The tour was cut short when they learned Leigh was missing. The search for Leigh led Krisis and his clan to Vladimir Schlick’s lair. The night ended on a fatal note when Krisis killed Vladimir in a crime of passion. His clan, Leigh’s brother and his then ‘partner’, Dr. Jacqueline Steinberg, concealed the murder.

After weeks of heartache, Krisis and Leigh eventually found their way back to each other’s arms. Just when they thought they’d achieved their happily ever after, Jacqueline, announced she’s pregnant with Krisis’ heir, thus putting a strain on their already complicated relationship. But Leigh and Krisis still pulled through determined to make things work.

Soon after Lily, Krisis’ daughter, was born Leigh left town without any real explanations, and Krisis spent the two months looking for her. The search led him to Barnacle Bay where he stopped Leigh from marrying Jesse and they conceived their triplets...

Michaela & Cameron

When Michaela returned to school after being home schooled for a year, she fell in love with Leo, a mortal boy in her class. The relationship was short-lived though, Leo slept with one of her close friends when Michaela refused to get intimate with him. With her parents trying to find Blake, Cameron Walters, K-Infinity’s keyboardist, was the only one who saw she was hurting, and he helped her through the breakup by being the friend that she needed.

Soon though, the two fell in love and because she was still a minor, Cameron decided to end their friendship before things could get out of hand.

Grieving the loss of her friendship with Cameron, on a spur of the moment Michaela goes hunting in Hollow Creek and the night ends fatally when she accidentally kills her prey.

Scared and vulnerable, she reaches out to Cameron to help her conceal the murder of Joshua Clarke, her prey. However when he arrives in Hollow Creek and she takes him back to Waylon’s Haunt where she left her prey they don’t find the body. Cameron assures her she didn’t kill her prey, but Michaela is adamant that she did.

Despite her protests, Cameron intervenes and tells her parents about her bloodlust and the incident in Hollow Creek. J.D and Krimsyn insist she go for therapy. Through hypnosis Michaela manages to remember the details of her hunt in Hollow Creek and she discovers she didn’t kill Joshua Clarke, but she may have turned him.

A few weeks later, at Leigh’s and Krisis’ house warming party, she and Cameron get up-close and personal while they work on the triplets’ nursery. They both admit their feelings for the other but agree to wait until Michaela turns eighteen before they make their relationship official on her eighteenth birthday.

Krimsyn & J.D.

J.D. was an agent in the narcotics unit for CLS (Champs Les Sims) PD when he first met Krimsyn. His team had raided Opium, her favorite haunt. She was caught with marijuana and cocaine, and JD had taken great pleasure in cuffing her.

After a whirlwind romance, Krimsyn was convinced she’d found her prince charming and her happily ever after. However, two years before their daughter, Michaela, was conceived, Krimsyn and J.D. discovered immortality doesn’t always mean forever when he was shot in the line of duty. If it wasn’t for his quick thinking partner, he would have bled out and died at the scene.

He made it out of surgery alive, but barely though. For two weeks he was in ICU, his life hanging in the balance. Doctors did everything to prepare her for the worst, but J.D. had surprised everyone and miraculously pulled through, and went on to make a remarkable recovery.

Those two weeks though, waiting to know his fate, were the hardest for her. When the doctors told her he wouldn’t make it she’d wanted to die too because facing a life without him wasn’t an option. She’d never understood the term “can’t live without someone” until then. He wasn’t just her lover or her boyfriend, he was her mate, the one fate had chosen for her. Without him, she didn’t want to exist.

For months after the incident, she was an emotional wreck, afraid of letting him out of her sight.  Her obsession turned ugly and irrational very quickly. She’d call him a hundred times a day and make unannounced visits at his office just to see him. Some days, when he let her, she’d drop him off and pick him up from work too. If she could, she would have made him spend every waking moment with her. And her drug addiction had started right about then.

Her clinginess got to a point of affecting his job negatively, and hers too. His bosses gave him an ultimatum: either he sorted out his house or he shipped out. J.D. didn’t want to lose his job or his mate so they went to couple’s therapy to work on their problems. Her abandonment issues had emerged from their therapy sessions, things about her past she’d had no clue had a bearing on her present came up, Margaret and her rapist father also came up.

As much as she’d hated therapy, it had helped her see her problems. She was afraid of losing people, more specifically Krisis and J.D; they were the only constant people in her life.

Soon after that though, J.D. left S.W.AT for her, because in the end she just couldn’t take it anymore. Like his bosses she gave him a choice, and he chose her. She left her career as a runway model and they moved to Bridgeport with Krisis and formed K-Infinity, making a quick mark in the music industry.

Exactly, a year after their first album, In the Shadows, was released, they found out they were expecting. Michaela was a shock, but a pleasant one. And they hadn’t looked back since...

Eloise & Devon

Eloise has known Devon all her life, and she’s loved him for just as long too, but she knew she never stood a chance with him since she’s his sister’s best friend and he thought of her as his little sister.

When Devon breaks up with Tamsyn, Eloise naturally rushes to his side to comfort him. But their lifelong platonic friendship soon changes to something more when Devon seduces her.

A few months into the relationship Eloise learns she’s pregnant with Devon’s child. He proposes and she merrily accepts.

Their happiness is short-lived though when Tamsyn comes back into the picture and nabs Blake from her during their first hospital visit since his birth.

Over the next few weeks, Devon and Eloise’s relationship is constantly tested as they try to find Blake. Their search for their son, leads Devon to Barnacle Bay, and with the help of the Frosts and J.D., he safely brings Blake home. And Eloise knows it then and there that she’s finally found her prince charming, the one man who’d move mountains for her…

Katie and Thornton

William Thornton wasn't looking for love. He didn't want to start anything with anyone, especially with a mortal. But all that changes when he reads the lyrics to a song written by Katie, K-Infinity's song writer.

The song in question isn't about him, it’s not even meant for him, but for the first time in years, maybe decades even, Thornton feels like someone understands him. He's convinced that Katie 'sees' him, she sees right through his facade of power, right through his empty, meaningless existence.

Fascinated by her spirited nature, and captivated by her beauty, Thornton pursues Katie tirelessly.  And Katie, not immune to his charm, falls for him very hard and very fast.

From the outside, looking in though, their new found love doesn't make sense, especially to those close to them. William is ambitious and driven, and a menace in the boardroom. Katie on the other hand, is a frolicking spirit who loves to write songs. In other words they are total opposites. Somehow though, they make their puzzle of a relationship work.

For Katie, still struggling to come to terms with the tragic death of her highschool sweetheart, Thornton is her safe harbor, her anchor in a world that's often chaotic and ever changing. He's the peace she's been seeking since she came to Bridgeport.

And for Thornton, harboring race and relationship issues stemming from his tumultuous affair with Margaret Frost, Katie is the mirror he can no longer avoid to look at. Through her music and her love for life, Katie’s constantly challenging him to reevaluate his stereotypes where mortals are concerned. Through their blossoming relationship, Thornton’s learning to accept that not all humans are like Margaret Frost and not all vampire-human relationships are destined to fail...
