Shang Simla, present day
She went back inside the resort after an hour of watching Michaela break the boards. Feeling revived after her cool shower, she drifted outside again, only to find Michaela still at it. Boy, she was glad she was not in school anymore!
“It’s time for a break. I think you should freshen up so we can head down to the market for dinner?” She suggested, but her student just grunted, and carried on breaking boards, no doubt imagining it was her parents’ heads she was breaking.
“Young love,” Leigh sighed softly. Michaela was not taking her separation from Jett well, and she could relate.
She turned away, a faraway look in her eyes as she tried to remember her own first love. Who was he again? What was his name? Did they even kiss? She vaguely remembered a guy with braces, and double-lens glasses…
“Leigh,” there was no mistaking that voice. She heard it her dreams all the time, and in her waking hours when she remembered the blissful moments they’d spent in each other’s arms.
“Krisis, what are you doing here?” She asked breathlessly. God, was it even possible? But she thought he looked even more handsome now in the glowing sunset, his fiery hair trapped the fading light, and she immediately itched to run her hands through its silkiness.
He dragged her in his arms, held her tightly to him.
“I told you I’d be back for you,” he smiled, reminding her of his parting shot when he’d left her room two weeks earlier.
“I couldn’t stay away. I know you told me I should leave you alone, but I’m so scared if I stay away one more day, I’m slowly losing you, and I can’t bear that. I love you, please come back to my life. This baby…it’s not ideal, but it’s happening, and I can’t wish it away, and I can’t force you to be a part of it, but here I am, begging you to reconsider, and open your heart again.” Damn, that was a long speech, but it was sincere. He meant every word he said. He did love her, and he wanted her in his life.
“No more secrets Krisis. I can’t deal with lies and deception. I know you’ve had to master the art to be in this business for so long, but I live my life by three guiding principles, truth, love, and common sense, and loving…” She’d lost him on the words "common sense", after that he wasn’t paying much attention, distracted by her scent, and long auburn hair.
She wanted the truth, he could manage that. Love, he had an abundance of that. And common sense…well, he’d been getting his brain boosters lately so that should work too.
“No more secrets,” he promised.
“Pinky swear?” She asked, pushing back her glasses, from her nose.
“I have something better,” he drawled huskily, dipping his head to kiss her. Two weeks, without her lips was torture, one he didn’t plan to go through again if he had his way!
Both were lost in the kiss, enjoying the feel of each other’s arms again. They drowned out the world, and forgot to watch the sunset, together. It was something they’d promised they’d do one day, when Krisis was brave enough to defy the sun. Today he’d stepped up to the challenge, but they’d completely missed it…
And they also missed the photographer who’d sneaked his way back to the resort when he saw Krisis’ limo pull up.
This picture would fetch a very high price on the market. There were always speculations in the media about their relationship since both of them had craftily declined to make comments.
Like any other celebrity relationship, there were two sides. One, completely happy for the love birds. And the other, who thought the fact that Leigh looked so much like Laura was weird, but Krisis dating Leigh was bizarre, if not bordering on sick and twisted.
A picture is worth a thousand words. Ji Min Ping had a wicked smile when he left the hotel. The newspapers would have a field day tomorrow morning. From Shang Simla all the way to Bridgeport! Watch the public dissect the photograph and twist it into something scandalous!
God I hate reporters! That picture is going to burn Jackie's eyes out! I wonder what she'll do now that they are working through this.

Even in that private sanctuary, reporters hover like annoying black flies. Great reunion, Krisis spoke from the heart, that always is a plus.

Karen, yeah, I think EA made their reporters too smart, and they really do imitate life in sims 3.

She's not unstable as such, but determined is the right word. So the shot might do a lot of damage.
I was wondering when the reporters would make a scene since Krisis' band was a hit. I am SO HAPPY THEY ARE BACK TOGETHER!!!!!! I am going to go make my Krisis and Leigh T now :)

What a horrid reporter! I hope he gets what he deserves, even though, I know he is just doing his job he could make sure it was the truth and not a load of vicious lies. I can't wait to see what Jacqueline says when she finds out, not that it's any of her business. I'm glad they are back together, and hope it stays that way.

Kristen, the reporters have been hounding them for a while, since the Frosts are all 5 star celebrities and Leigh's a 4 star since she's with Krisis, I have lots of pics of the media frenzy, I just didn't get a chance to throw it into the story till now.

I'm glad they're back together and all.... but I know it's not all HAPPY EVER AFTER now, lol. When Jackie sees that picture, she is going to flip. One thing that really surprised me though, was the fact that Leigh took him back so quickly.

FREAKING REPORTERS! How awesomely scandalous though :D I am happy that now everyone knows about their relationship, but sad that now everyone knows about their relationship LOL!
ReplyDeleteShe will not really ever get a moments rest now (sorry Leigh) and Jackie's reaction will send her over the edge. She's been pretty ok with Leigh (up until now) she has been "cordial" caring for her and not going ballistic over her man stealing (though not on purpose).

Poor Michaela. I think we can all relate to what she is going through.

She was just pissed at him for keeping the truth from her. But if he'd cheated on her, then it would have been a different story.

It's been so long since I was Michaela's age, I was a little worried about her character, like am I being too dramatic here, or is acting more like an adult than a child, etc. Glad her behavior stuck out. Thank you, I can't tell you how much it means to me to hear you say that.

ReplyDeleteyou can say that again about FREAKIN REPORTERS. Everyone had suspicions about their relationship, but since neither had confirmed it, there were numerous speculations and innuendos. Too bad now because everyone will know about their relationship.
Nope she won't. And Jackie....*rubs hands* You're right, she has been very accommodating till now, but that may soon change.

Pong really wanted it for himself to brag to his friends, and that comment about her being so much nicer in real life, he just meant that everytime they saw her on TV, she's always aloof, and not too welcoming since Krisis coached her well. Sorry I haven't respond to the comment in the previous prompt yet. I've just been caught up at work.
