045. Enigma

Krisis still couldn’t believe she’d agreed to his proposition. He was so sure she’d refuse considering their rocky start.  But when he’d cornered her in the elevator earlier in the week, as she was leaving, she didn’t run away screaming. She’d been shocked…Shocked but not furious.

He never thought he’d be so sexually aware of a human again after Laura. But every time Leigh was in the room, he couldn’t focus on a single thought, and he knew he had to have her. Taste her. Feel her.

He didn’t know what it was between them, but it was undeniable. Their chemistry was too damn strong to be left unexplored. For days they’d been circling each other, stealing side long glances, loaded with anticipation and desire…

Maybe that’s why she’d agreed, without putting up a fight. Maybe she wanted him as much as he wanted her.

Gently, he began untangling the straps on her bikini top, and he felt her pulse race out of control at his touch. He smiled with satisfaction at this. She wasn’t immune to him. He hadn’t imagined the sexual tension between them.

A soft, shaken sigh escaped her lips causing his whole body to shudder violently. He sensed her fear and apprehension. Both were expected, since she was a first time donor.

I’ll be gentle with you. He promised silently.

The rules were simple.

One night…One night only, she would be his, and in turn he would fulfill all her fantasies. And tomorrow he’d be off on his tour with Krisis infinity. This was the perfect way to get her out of his system.

But first…tonight was theirs…Tomorrow will take care of itself.

He pulled her close to him, and kissed her fully on the lips, gently nibbling on her tongue, and lips. He molded her softness closer to his body, and felt her nipples tauten with desire as he trailed his hands on her breast.

He took her hand, and held it firmly around him, making her feel the power she had over him.

His kiss deepened, bringing him to a new state of arousal, and he forced himself to slow down. They had the whole night, and it wasn’t just her blood he was craving.

God, he wanted her, every inch of her. He wanted to feel her softness underneath him, bury himself inside her, and cradle her hips firmly against his…He wanted to make wild passionate love to her, take her with wild abandon, and bring them both to a cosmic climax. He wanted to love her, and remember what it felt like to wake up with a woman in his arms.

“Make love to me.” Those four words were his undoing…

“Fuck!” He gasped and fought for air. For a long time he sat on the edge of the bed, feeling disoriented, alone, and so damn lost.

It was the hot tub dream again! He frowned darkly. But this time it had gone a little further. She’d talked, pleaded with him to take her. There was no doubt in his mind he would have, if he hadn’t awoken.

Damn, what the hell does it all mean? He mused as he lightly made his way to the lounge.

The house was deathly silent, everyone was obviously still asleep. Only a lunatic would be up at this hour, or a horny vampire longing for a mousy school teacher!

“Good morning Krisis, would you like your breakfast now?” Caroline’s voice startled him, and he looked at her guiltily, convinced she could read his sick thoughts. Luckily the butler was already seated and surfing through the TV channels.

“No thanks, Caroline,” he murmured and turned on the stereo.

He did a hundred pushups, doing sets of ten, before moving on to sit-ups.

“Are you okay, Krisis?”

That’s the problem with having a family butler for so long; they know you as well as they know your house. Krisis thought irritably.

He grunted a somewhat inaudible affirmative; Caroline left the room, leaving him to his strength training routine.

His thoughts drifted back to the dream…

She never spoke in the dream. They were always hands and tongues, action and anticipation, mingled with desire and passion, bodies entwined.

“Fuck! This has got to stop!” He swore again under his breath.

He opened the taps wide, and welcomed the hard droplets of water from the spray jets. He stood under the shower, unable to move; unable to do anything besides wish he could forget his dream.

“I can’t be attracted to her,” Krisis mumbled.

She reminded him of Laura, so it was normal he’d have those kinds of dreams right? The more he tried to convince himself, the longer the dream stayed with him.

“Shit!” He growled again, remembering the feel of her soft lips, the curve of her hips…oh, and how she’d touched him.

As he scrubbed himself, he wished he could wash away the remnants of the dream with as much ease.

But thoughts of the school teacher wouldn’t let him be…It was a week since she took up her teaching post, and they’d never had any contact since their first encounter, yet she had him in knots! Avoiding each other was their unspoken rule, so it was baffling that he was having sexy dreams about her.

Apart from her uncanny resemblance to Laura, she wasn’t the type of woman he’d go for usually. He liked his women to be confident, strong, and outgoing, and they had to be vampires!  That last part was non-negotiable. Laura was the exception of course. So Ms. Schoolteacher, appearing in his dreams was an enigma, and one he didn’t wish to explore further.
